Instant, Contracted Savings

Your electricity rate is set out in your PPA contract from day one, below the grid price - either fixed for the term or on an agreed escalator, whichever the contract specifies.

Zero Maintenance, Contracted Rate

It's a simple, transparent partnership: you provide the unused roof space, and our funding partner INICIO handles the cost. INICIO invests its own capital in the system, which Solar4Business surveys, designs and installs; INICIO then owns and operates it, making its return over the agreement term by selling you the power your roof produces at a rate lower than the grid. You get the savings, with your maintenance obligations covered under the agreement, and INICIO secures a long-term energy partner.

Ready to Secure Your Energy Future?

Your system goes live and you start buying cheaper electricity.

Energy volatility is a risk to your business.

Unpredictable wholesale energy markets create a real liability on your balance sheet. That volatility makes long-term financial forecasting difficult and exposes your business to sudden price shocks.

Contracted Budget Certainty.

A PPA is a contracted alternative to that volatility. Your rate per kWh, and how it changes over the term, is agreed and set out in the contract for up to 25 years, so a chaotic and unpredictable cost becomes a known, budgetable one. It's a simple agreement to use your roof space in exchange for cheaper power, with no capital outlay required.

FAQs

Fully funded solar comparison FAQs

What does a fully funded PPA involve?

Our funding partner INICIO pays for the system, which Solar4Business installs, and its maintenance is covered under the agreement. You buy the electricity it generates at an agreed rate, typically below the grid price. There is no capital outlay.

How is this different from buying outright?

Buying outright means you own the system from day one and keep every pound of the saving, but you fund the installation yourself. A PPA has no upfront cost, but INICIO owns the system and you pay for the electricity it produces.

How do I know which route suits my business?

Your free assessment models a PPA, buying outright, hire purchase and a tariff switch against your own bills, so you can compare them side by side before deciding.

What if my roof doesn’t qualify for a PPA?

Not every site suits a PPA. Where it doesn’t, we still model the other three ways to pay so you get a recommendation.

How long does the assessment take?

The online form takes a couple of minutes. We then confirm your details against your bill data and send a written recommendation within one working day.

Who installs the system?

Solar4Business surveys, designs and installs every system, whichever route you choose.
