Business Solar UK - What We Do
Business Solar UK was set up for one simple reason: to make it easy for a business to work out whether solar is worth it, without wading through installer quotes on your own.
We assess your roof space and your half-hourly electricity data, then model all four ways to pay against your own numbers: switching and saving on your current tariff, buying outright, hire purchase, and a fully funded power purchase agreement.
Our installation partner, Solar4Business, surveys, designs and installs every system. Our funding partner, INICIO, provides the capital behind the PPA route, so a business with the right roof can go solar with no upfront cost.
Both companies were founded by Grant Nicholson, whose team you will meet once your assessment moves to survey stage.
How It All Works
The process is straightforward. You answer a few questions about your business, your building and your energy use, and we come back with a proposal that models every route side by side, so you can see the numbers before committing to any of them.
Once you choose a route, Solar4Business books a technical site survey to confirm the roof, the wiring and the final system design. If you are funding through INICIO's PPA, that agreement is set out in full before survey.
Installation is scheduled around your operation, and you start saving on your electricity bill from the day the system is switched on.
